💐 Spring at G4C Learn: Celebrate the Student Challenge + What’s Next! 🎮

And just like that, the 2025-2026 Games for Change Student Challenge has come to an end! 🎬

This year, the G4C Student Challenge received 1,283 submissions from 53 countries, marking a 29.3% increase from last year. This growth reflects how young creators worldwide are using game design to become agents of change, developing original social-impact digital and tabletop/analog games, character designs, and game trailers that address urgent issues through the power of play.

To celebrate a wonderful year of the Student Challenge, we invite you to tune in to the Student Challenge Awards Ceremony on May 28 at 4 PM EDT to recognize the achievements and dedication of these talented young creators.

Be sure to RSVP for the Awards Ceremony to receive important information and a link to access the stream.

📧 Did you or your students submit a project? Keep an eye out for an email from [email protected] with updates on submission results.

We’re just THREE months away from our Games for Change Festival on July 21-22 at the Glasshouse in New York City, and tickets for G4C2026 are now AVAILABLE! 🎟️

We invite our community of educators to join the conversation on the theme: “Reimagining Play,” exploring it as an evolving practice for understanding complex issues, experimenting with ideas, and imagining new futures.

Among the tracks at G4C2026, the curated Games and Learning Track features sessions on game-based learning and design, with industry leaders and changemakers delivering research-grounded talks, workshops, keynotes, and hands-on experiences.

The Festival is a great opportunity for educators who use games in the classroom to join these conversations, network, explore the G4C Festival Arcade, and attend the G4C Awards Ceremony!
