The G4C Student Challenge Competition deadline has been extended to Monday, April 21st, at 11:59 PM PDT! Students now have a little more time to fine-tune their games and artwork to have the chance to win worldwide recognition, cool prizes, a $10,000 scholarship, an all-expenses-paid trip to NYC to attend the G4C Festival, and more! ๐ŸŽ‰

University-aged students (ages 18-25) can submit digital games, and students in grades 5-12 can submit digital, analog, or character design projects across three social impact themes:

Want your students to get feedback before submitting? Creators aged 13-25 can use the Endless Studio playtesting platform to gain valuable feedback from fellow student game developers. Use the access code G4C2025University to explore the portal and help level up student-made projects! ๐Ÿš€

๐Ÿ“… This is the final stretch! Encourage your students to use these last few weeks to polish their projects and make them awesome! Once theyโ€™re ready, guide them to submit by 11:59 PM PDT on April 21st.

Good luck! We canโ€™t wait to see the students' incredible creations! ๐ŸŽฎ ๐ŸŒŸ

Remind your students to register for our final G4C Student Challenge Level Up:โ€™ Oh, the Places We Came From!โ€™ on Tuesday, April 15, from 6 - 7 pm EDT! Gain insights from experts Nicolette Dunks, Crystal Frasier, Corey Bowen, and Gwen Bassett from the Wizards of the Coast team at Hasbro about their pathways into the game industry, which have led them to careers in game design, narrative, production, and more!

This is the LAST WEEK you can host a G4C Game Jam at your school and bring the excitement of games and social impact to your community. Challenge your class to create a social impact game focused on this yearโ€™s themes centered around climate change, world hunger, and peacebuilding. ๐ŸŒ ๐ŸŽฎ

Hosting a game jam is a fun and impactful way to encourage creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking among students. Students can also submit the games they created to the G4C Student Challenge Competition! Educators outside of the US are eligible for a stipend to support the Game Jam.

Donโ€™t miss out! This is your last chance to grab early-bird tickets to attend the 2025 Games for Change Festival at Parsons School of Design at The New School in NYC to celebrate the power of games and immersive media to drive real-world change!

As an educator, you will gain insights from experts who are leading and integrating play-centered learning.
